dancing, living, and being a ninja.

So if it wasn't obvious I decided to take a the summer off from writing. I decided to focus on dance, rest, blah blah all of the above. I'm so happy to put this baby back in action though. At the start of the summer I made a to-do list of what I wanted to accomplish. Let's take a look how I managed...

Summer 2011 To-do list:
      1. AP English reading assignment
      2. get a new phone
      3. live in New York City for 2 weeks
      4. sit down in a coffee shop & talk with my girl
      5. get somewhat of a tan
      6. audition for another show
      7. get new glasses
      8. go on a date with sweetheart
      9. drive through the mountains while the sun sets (and take a girl with me?)
      10. have another triple trouble meeting at iHop
      11. get together with Bria and create the most incredible duet the world of dance has ever seen
      12. realize that I only have one more year left
Even though I didn't accomplish everything I wanted to this summer, I wouldn't of had it any other way. Here's a list of things I DID DO, but had no intention of doing (which I think is so much more fun).

      1. go to a baseball game with my family
      2. meet a girl, a new girl.
      3. give up my seat on the NYC subway for a mother and her daughter
      4. kiss a girl in a park after the sun went down
      5. sneak onto the roof of the YMCA to see the sky line of the entire Upper East Side
      6. see Sutton Foster live on stage
      7. meet Sutton Foster
      8. ride in a Taxi by myself
      9. walk 17 blocks just to do laundry, in the rain
      10. become obsessed with mocha frappacino's
      11. pretend to be a ninja in the middle of the night while wearing my black jazz shoes
      12. dance to help raise money to get one step closer to finding a diagnosis for the sweetest little girl
      13. sit in Central Park and ease-drop on the group near-by to find out they're all named nancy (men and women)
      14. sneak into a girl's room and stay there until 5AM
      15. shop in SOHO
      16. tear up the bottom of my feet
      17. sprain my right ankle..again
      18. I stopped missing her.
I'm well into my first week of my Senior year, and I'm loving it so far. I miss Summer 2011 and all of the amazing people I met, but I'm ready to be a Senior. I've been waiting forever to finally get here, and now it's finally here. Here's some pictures from my amazing adventures over the past couple months:

WE LIKED TO DRESS UP AS NINJAS AND SNEAK OUT.

the view from the roof we liked to sneak onto. the upper east side is so beautiful at night. it was so worth getting caught and having to clean studio mirrors Center Stage style (for anyone who has seen that movie).

All and all, it was the summer of my life. And I'll never forget it.

from that dancer guy to you,
Tony
